A young British soldier is accidentally abandoned by his unit following a riot on the streets of Belfast in 1971. Unable to tell friend from foe, and increasingly wary of his own comrades, the raw recruit must survive the night alone and find his way to safety through a disorientating, alien and deadly landscape.

Awesome movie. Once again Jack O'Connell's acting really excels & captivates his audience. His heart & soul went into portraying a soldier in the British army in the 70s during "the troubles" in Northern Ireland & I enjoyed every minute of it. Highly recommended!

Jack O'Connell gives one of his best performances to date in this nail-biting action thriller. The film quickly sets the scene before cranking up the tension to the very end. Well worth a watch!

Very hard to find a decent film reflecting the times of The Troubles. Captures it perfectly and puts you on the (wrong) streets of Belfast. Great acting, too.
