Al Pacino stars as a college professor and forensic psychologist for the FBI who learns that he is scheduled to die in 88 Minutes. Professor Jack Gramm's (Academy Award winner Pacino--Ocean's Eleven, Scent of a Woman, "Angels in America") skills are put to the test, with is own life at stake, as he attempts to decipher which of three suspects plans to kill him--problem graduate student Mike Stemp (Ben McKenzie--"The O.C.," Junebug), Gramm's former girlfriend or a serial murderer he helped put on death row.
