In this timely thriller, single father Dennis Nash (Golden Globe nominee Andrew Garfield) is evicted from his home and his only chance to win it back is to go to work for Rick Carver (Academy Award nominee Michael Shannon), the charismatic and ruthless businessman who evicted him in the first place. It's a deal-with-the-devil that provides security for his family; but as Nash falls deeper into Carver's web, he finds his situation grows more brutal and dangerous than he ever imagined.

The story seemed to move slowly, but kept my attention. I wouldn't recommend this movie unless you couldn't come up with a better option. It passes the time, but that's about it.

It caught my attention early on and I liked it but you can figure out the plot. No surprises. I was hoping for a plot twist...The whole idea of this movie is really sad to know that this happens in real life.

The entire time I watched this movie I kept thinking, get a f****** job Laura Dern! I was hoping her character caught AIDS
