Nine 1/2 Weeks, 1986, ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 1/2. A beautiful gallery assistant chance meets a dashing Wall Street broker while out for lunch. This was definitely my favorite Adrian Lyne movie. While Flashdance was almost all music video and Fatal Attraction’s last half was pure psycho; this was almost all an erotic, some times sadomasochist, soft core love story. The difference; who wouldn’t want to spend an hour or so with Rouke or Basinger in a bedroom?

Still to this day this film is one of the hottest films I have seen, even though it was back in the late 80s & so long ago! Perfect casting, super steamy, provocative with a touch of humour. The emotion is palpable and definitely draws you in. Kim Basinger and Mickey Rourke in their hay-day, with incredible chemistry and tremendous sex appeal!!! It is one of those films that you can watch over and over and be drawn in, every time!
