Xenophobic indeed. This film makes Mexicans look horrible, they rape and enslave women then cross the boarder illegally to fight an American on his property. The violence is pretty brutal, lots of spikes to the face. Stalone looks and sounds stranger than ever. The entire film focuses on Rambo's tunnels and bunkers he built. It's mostly a home alone trap movie at the end. Btw he literally rips a man's heart out of his chest. Entertaining but weird.

Opportunity lost. First off I’m a huge Stallone fan. Love Rocky and Rambo. I was so excited when I saw the trailers. I was hoping for more of a “Logan” style ending for such an iconic character. Movie was super rushed and poorly filmed. Bit of a mess. The final 20 minutes was action packed but the first 3/4 was messy. I think they could have expanded on the character of Gabrielle, better villains (like rogue special forces guys similar to the Equalizer 2) l; main bad guy someone of Stallone’s caliber and closer to age (Dennis Qauid or Kurt Russell). Anyways I’ll will purchase it to complete my collection

I was actually impressed with how much I enjoyed this film it played well into the fact he has aged and it reflected in his combative skill. It didn't make him fight like he was in his 20s where you'd be put off by how unrealistic it be for someone of his age...and in saying that Sylvester Stallone still has it, definitely a must watch for any Rambo fan.
