Viewers expecting a thriller may be disappointed, because there are no eye-catching events or reversals, and the most serious thing in the whole film has always been Alice's inner anxiety and pain. It's not that nothing happens, but most of the time, the movie is just a platter of petty and anguished close-ups of Anna. Everyone is on here acting like these empaths play no role in their victimhood. Just as the narcissist preys on the empath, the empath fulfills their own need for love and codependency. They spend years and years with these clowns and act like they are some victim, no. The funniest part is that when they finally do break free, they go and do it all over again with the same personality type. They aren't attracted to regular and decent people. You aren't a victim when you keep doing it.

Terrible, just terrible. Don't waste your time. I'd give it zero stars if I could and wife agrees.
