Sole-survivor of a plane crash, and stranded deep within the icy Arctic Circle, Overgård (Mads Mikkelson, Hannibal) spends his days surviving on the fish he can pull from beneath the ice while waiting for a rescue that may never come. If you enjoy these types of sole survival movies (as I do, e.g. Cast Away, Gravity, All Is Lost, The Martian), you will like this one too. Mads Mikkelsen is great as always. The film keeps you on the edge right until the very last second.

The ending ruined the entire movie which focussed on hope and a quest to survive even in the face of great adversity. It would have been good to see that they made it alive. His acting is superb.

Another movie that has potential but doesn't have an ending that delivers.
