Having inherited a home from a member of the Real Murders Club, Aurora "Roe" Teagarden, a local librarian and proud club member, is mystified by the mere acquaintance's gift. But after uncovering a human skull hidden in the window seat of the house, Aurora takes it upon herself to try and solve the case.
