Where Stephen kings view of shining has jack Torrance loosing self identity in his decline the movie adaptation has a shining dancing and entertaining villian with one liners against the exploitation of mysognistic mental abuse. the clockwork orange follows an identical model. as the book presents alex as a archetype for burgess to deal with troma. but the movie shallow 'art'

You'll need therapy for years... just not in a dark cinema, watching crimes against humanity with your eyes pinned open (that'll just make it worse).

A superb Cult Classic directed by one of the masters of cinema. Malcolm McDowell is on fine form as Alex De Large, the charismatic but brutal gang leader . Great visuals , Music and Performances . A film with a moral message not to be missed.
