with Malcolm McDowell and Jack Nicholson Kubrick chooses actors with narcissistic personality to play the protagonists. Where Stephen kings view of shining has jack Torrance loosing self identity in his decline the movie adaptation has a shining dancing and entertaining villian with one liners against the exploitation of mysognistic mental abuse. the clockwork orange follows an identical model. as the book presents alex as a archetype for burgess to deal with troma. but the movie shallow 'art'

You'll need therapy for years... just not in a dark cinema, watching crimes against humanity with your eyes pinned open (that'll just make it worse).

A superb Cult Classic directed by one of the masters of cinema. Malcolm McDowell is on fine form as Alex De Large, the charismatic but brutal gang leader . Great visuals , Music and Performances . A film with a moral message not to be missed.
