From acclaimed director David Cronenberg (A History of Violence) comes a dark tale of sexual and intellectual discovery, featuring two of the greatest minds of the 20th century. Carl Jung (Michael Fassbender, Shame) has just begun his psychiatric career, having been inspired by the great Sigmund Freud (Viggo Mortensen, The Lord of the Rings trilogy). Has less imagination than most of Cronenberg, and the cast (with the exception of Keira Knightley) is uncharacteristically stoic and dull.

...this is a quality film with great acting and excellent cinematography.

For quite some time I have been facinated by the works of Freud & Jung. This movie is a great insight into Jung's early life & Kiera Knightley performance was spectacular.
