I loved it! Amazing story! To even try to define this into one genre diminishes this film. This unique movie is a masterpiece that balances between horror and some kind of hitchcockian magic realism. For the entire film we go tumbling down the rabbit hole where the main character has to descend and there are some moments where you feel something is bringing you out of the story, but then you realize that these are parts of a puzzle purposely placed to seduce you more into this strange and bizarre world. The acting across the board is first class, Graham Greene is terrific, but special mention must go to Oscar Cardenas. A brave, and raw performance. The score is nothing but breathtaking, and its contribution alone elevates this film. This is one of the best films you will ever find these days. Recommended.

A Dark Foe exceeded my expectations! It has a solid storyline, with great character development, and the conflict between The Cradle (Graham Greene) and Tony Cruz (Oscar Cardenas) creates suspenseful scenery throughout the movie. It will keep you on your toes with unexpected turns of events and will provide a great suspenseful time to enjoy with friends. The visual effects were used efficiently to help enforce the phobia portrayed throughout the movie. The nyctophobia is an unique feature shown in the movie that is not commonly seen on the big screen. Overall, my friends and I enjoyed it. Its a fun movie to watch!

I really liked the main characters (Tony) arc. He goes to hell and back from what The Cradle does to him. He became an FBI agent with the hope of one day catching this monster. That concept hooked me in! I won't give any spoilers but will just say that I loved it! I also felt truly invested in that scene with the guy that has Parkinson's.
