Although the plot is essentially repeat of "A Night at the Opera" and the death of the Brothers' most important supporter in MGM management, Irving Thalberg, during production meant that this is the last of the Marx Brothers' great movies, this film is still a classic of film comedy. The dialogue is as witty as ever and Harpo has his distinctive silliness, the film ends with a wild horse race that needs the Brothers help to win in their own manner.
