I guess my biggest problem in this movie is that John McClane seems more mean spirited. It's like he lost his sense of care and fun. There are some ok moments with his son, and the ending is kind of ok, but the movie is kind of a mess. I like Bruce Willis a lot and enjoyed the last one, but this one is really missing a dynamic kooky villain. That would've balanced out the seriousness of the McClane family in this film. They were not as fun as in the previous installments.

IT WAS OK,, BUT IT HAD VERY LITTLE PLOT.. MORE LIKE A "I NEED MONEY FOR TAX SEASON" THAN AN ACTUAL MOVIE. It is the worst of the sieries as far as actual content.i have the others but i wont be buying this one unless it goes on a 2 dollar sale. and i do mean 2 dollars. i might not spend that much.

Hollywood hired a director with a terrible track record to pump out a hopeful cash grab. This entry into the iconic franchise flopped critically and financially. IMHO, the hate was undue. As a stand alone film, this would have been seen with far more favor. The action was great! Unfortunately it just couldn't hold up as a Die Hard film
