The cargo ship MV Rozen is heading for harbor when it is hijacked by Somali pirates in the Indian Ocean. Amongst the men on board are the ship's cook Mikkel and the engineer Jan, who along with the rest of the seamen are taken hostage in a cynical game of life and death. With the demand for a ransom of millions of dollars, a psychological drama unfolds between the CEO of the shipping company and the Somali pirates.

Well told story of a ships crew taken by Somali pirates. It shows not only the emotional toll, it takes on the crew members but also on the company leadership as they try to negotiate the release. The movie begs you to ask , did the company act soon enough. Did they put enough value on human life. This movie was well worth the small price of rental.

"A Hijacking is a masterclass in suspense. The film's claustrophobic setting and the ticking clock create a sense of constant tension that keeps you on the edge of your seat.

The whole movie revolves around the CEO's negotiations skills. Was not the movie I was expecting.
