Sin embargo, cuando programan un avanzado prototipo de robot niño llamado David (Haley Joel Osment) para mostrar amor incondicional, su familia humana no se encuentra preparada para afrontar las consecuencias. De pronto, David se encuentra solo en un mundo extraño y peligroso. Protegido por un Meca que conoce la vida en las calles (Jude Law), David se embarca en una espectacular búsqueda para descubrir el asombroso secreto de su propia identidad.

Calificaciones y opiniones

Not the full five stars. Why? Because Steven created a real stunner but failed to get his essential message across. He was aiming to get to the childless couples who yearned for a true family. Instead he created a new AI species with individual lives that totally surpassed those of humans. BTW, I broke down several times afterwards with the image of that little boy sitting there for 3 000 years waiting for his mummy, it was as hard as watching the firefighters filing into the towers on 911.

Not an emotional person at all but the only film that can make me cry in the entire world. I have never understood why. What's to say, it's Spielberg at his best, around his exploration of the future phase.... Genius movie that is basically an update of Pinocchio. Incredible.
