Ohjaaja Steven Spielbergin futuristinen sci-fi-klassikko A.I. - tekoäly häikäisee! Lapsirobotin prototyyppi David (Haley Joel Osment) on ohjelmoitu rakastamaan, mutta vaikeuksien ilmaannuttua hänen ihmisperheensä hylkää hänet. David päätyy harhailemaan maailman vaaroissa yksinään ja tutustuu pian katuelämän tuntevaan robottiin (Jude Law). Yhdessä he syöksyvät seikkailuun, jonka tavoitteena on selvittää Davidin alkuperän salaisuus.

Not the full five stars. Why? Because Steven created a real stunner but failed to get his essential message across. He was aiming to get to the childless couples who yearned for a true family. Instead he created a new AI species with individual lives that totally surpassed those of humans. BTW, I broke down several times afterwards with the image of that little boy sitting there for 3 000 years waiting for his mummy, it was as hard as watching the firefighters filing into the towers on 911.

Not an emotional person at all but the only film that can make me cry in the entire world. I have never understood why. What's to say, it's Spielberg at his best, around his exploration of the future phase.... Genius movie that is basically an update of Pinocchio. Incredible.
