When Lauren, a 13-year-old American girl living in Paris, meets Daniel, a 13-year-old French boy, on the set of a film, these two kids balanced on the tipping point between innocence and awareness become instantly inseparable. And with an aging, dapper boulevadier (Sir Lawrence Olivier)--who savors a memory of a lifetime of romantic adventures--acting as Cupid, encouraging them to believe in true love, these two remarkable kids travel to Venice to seal their romance with a chaste kiss under the Bridge of Sighs.
