A Miami Love Story is a current day rendition of Romeo & Juliet between Dominicans & Haitians that takes place in the harsh streets of Miami. The cultural divide has crossed the Caribbean & is spilling over the Miami streets as they battle each other for dominance of the drug market. The already tense balance is threatened further when Patrick's young Haitian sister & Felipe's Dominican nephew begin a forbidden romance that brings everything to a climatic head.
