People need to get over the Oprah chaos that happened. If people actually read the book you would see the story is fantastic. He captured something that no one else did. His style of writing is so different that when you start it you kind of think you won't be able to handle it but not even two pages in, you can't put it down. I applaud Mr. Frey and his books that he wrote. He is truly like no other.

I read the WONDERFUL book! Oprah was absolutely stupid how she treated the author! As I read the book, I knew it had a bit of exaggeration but so what..I couldn't put the book down and I had a full time job and was exhausted! A great writer! Highly recommend it!!! And am now going to watch the movie...

No thanks. Frey's "memiors" have been discredited for gross exaggerations of the truth. Recovery from addiction requires a level of self honesty Frey has not attained yet. His career has been fraught with deception and dishonesty.
