Nancy, Kris, Quentin, Jesse and Dean all live on Elm Street. At night, they're all having the same dream--of the same man, wearing a tattered red and green striped sweater, a beaten fedora half-concealing a disfigured face and a gardener's glove with knives for fingers. And they're all hearing the same frightening voice...One by one, he terrorizes them within the curved walls of their dreams, where the rules are his, and the only way out is to wake up. But when one of their number dies a violent death, they soon realize that what happens in their dreams happens for real, and the only way to stay alive is to stay awake. Functioning on little to no sleep, the four surviving friends struggle to understand why them, why now, and what their parents aren't telling them. Buried in their past is a debt that has just come due, and to save themselves, they will have to plunge themselves into the mind of the most twisted nightmare of all... Freddy Krueger. Graderings en resensies

Half of my hates this movie, the other half of me actually enjoyed it. Ok this movie had problems, first of all i am a massive horror fan. And nightmare on elm street is one of my all time favorites, so I was excited to know there was another movie. This is not a remake, it's not like the orginal in any sense, new actor to play freddy. But hell I didnt hate it, and I still would not mind to see a second one.

Although many would say the first is better as it is the original, I'd say this version is more thrilling and provides a more realistic presence about it.. Although the older version seems to be more freaky, personally this is due to the fact it's an 80's movie and down to the creepy cheesey style of the 80s, it kind of scares me more... Got to love the theme tune too

Best ever my mum watched all lf them I think this is way better than SAW 5 flippin star 1.2Freddy's coming for you LOL
