Somewhere in the Balkans, over the course of 24 breathless hours, Mambrú (Benicio del Toro), leads his team of humanitarians, including hard-bitten, wisecracking veteran B (Tim Robbins) and new recruit Sophie (Melanie Thierry), as they deal with an unexpected crisis.
