Being a big fan of John Krasinski, Emily Blunt and Sci-fi horror I was very excited to see this film when it first came out. I wasn't completely disappointed but it didn't live up to my expectations. I feel like it should have been an escape from the invasion movie than an aftermath. I understand the film wanted to focus on the family connection and how they survive living in silence but Sci-fi fans don't exactly love waiting for and barely seeing aliens through 90% of the movie. Solid C+

Have you seen A Quiet Place (1)? You have? Good news then! You've seen the second one! If you enjoyed AQP1, by all means, watch AQP2, it is enjoyable and worth your time, be warned however, there is no plot twist or surprise ending; what they set up to happen, happens, and the story line is exactly the same, cookie cutter, CTRL V - CTRL P, deja vu, looking into a mirror the same as the first movie. This movie is just like part 2,it has no plot. The monsters have no reasons at all how or why they came out of & from nowhere just to kill for fun,& not even for food.This movie was just stupid as part 2.No one came up with ways to destroy the monsters & take back their earth in either movie.At least in the Independence Day movie it had a hell of alot smarter director & creator than this idiot.
