VE Day, 1945. Across Europe, people are celebrating the end of the war. London overflows with celebration and excess. Two princesses are allowed out that night to join the party. Well acted end of WW2 comedy drama. Sumptuous set designs. Lovely clothing styles which leave today's severely lacking! Highly recommended - I'm very glad I bought this film loosely based on truth, which adds to the enjoyment.
