Academy Award®-winning* directors Joel and Ethan Coen return to their comedy roots with this original and darkly humorous story about one ordinary man's quest to become a serious man. Struggling to make sense of it all, Larry consults three different rabbis and their answers lead him on a twisted journey of faith, family, delinquent behavior and mortality in the film critics rave is "seriously awesome!" Possibly my all time favorite movie - This movie goes where few have gone, deep into the works of the jewish karmic system, afterlife and reincarnation ( gilgul nehsamot ). It provides insight and a great way to explain how Judaism views life, man's mission on earth, the continuum of the soul's journey and the concept of free will. Highly recommended, specially for any jews or buddists out there!

It not the best movie ever, but it is very good one. It may not resonate with you but this movie definitely hidden jem if it do. It like Weatherman. It not for every one. But if you been there you will get it.
