A Simple Favor is a strange movie. The tone is all ober the place. The plotline is somewhat believable up to a point. by the final act you will either be invested or drifting away. It's not a bad movie just not as good as something like Gone Girl.

Superb mystery that had me on the edge of my seat with a welcomed dash of comedy. Towards the end it does start to become a little far fetched but it is self aware of that fact.

Predictable, boring, uninspired plot. Trailer looks much more tense than the actual film. Decent rental but not worth purchasing.
