The lives of three small-time townspeople are turned upside down when they discover the wreck of a small plane containing four million dollars in cash next to a dead pilot. Captivated by the lure of sudden wealth, their quiet rural lives erupt into conflicts of greed, paranoia and distrust. Their simple plan to keep the money for themselves triggers panicked behaviour that spirals out of control and leads to terrible consequences.
