Frank Connor is a Civil War hero turned bounty hunter who spends his time polishing off whiskey and tracking down fugitives for a small charge. When two children turn up on his doorstep, desperate for his help to find their missing mother, Frank finds that he must face up to his past and head towards a showdown with a notorious Major with whom he has an old score to settle.
