Suspense Thriller based on the famous short story by master of fiction Ray Bradbury. In the year 2055, a technology has been invented that enables people to go back in time to hunt dinosaurs.

I hesitate between two and three stars. I have been presented with two possible interpretations of this ray bradbury adaptation, one is that the author and the director endeavoured to spin a tall tale and see if whether or not anyone would correctly identify the incoherent string of logical fallacies that constitute this film. The other is it is a garbage movie with little to no redeeming value other than Ben Kingsleys god awful wig. Regardless, only the true masochist would sit down and watch this film with any regularity. A Sound of Thunder lacks the charm of "The Room", the cultural significance of "Rocky Horror", and the attention to detail that would potentially make it a cult hit. The best way to watch it is as a comedy, seriously.

Great story, solid cast, good effects. Deserves wider recognition.
