Seasoned musician Jackson Maine (Bradley Cooper) discovers—and falls in love with—struggling artist Ally (Lady Gaga). She has just about given up on her dream to make it big as a singer… until Jack coaxes her into the spotlight. But even as Ally’s career takes off, the personal side of their relationship is breaking down, as Jack fights an ongoing battle with his own internal demons.

Very rushed, which made the plot useless. The so called raved "chemistry" lady gaga and bradly crooper had was....umm, minor to say the least. Coopers character gets lost in the plot and the movie has A LOT of similarities to Gagas current career. The film does very little to address the majors issues they were trying to address and convey. Not good as Hollywood made it out to be. I was really disappointed. In my opinion: It seemed like they were trying to put too much into the film. sorry 😑

I will not buy this or watch it again because it is DULL. Really the best thing about this movie is if I can not sleep, play this film and sleep will not be and issue. So what is it about a Country musician discovers a Country/Pop musician and their growing relationship ...... so who cares ? Of course the country guy's career falls apart because of alcohol and what would a movie be without a stereotype of the drunk country guy. The music being the nature of the film is Pop/Country but nothing I remember of this music to this day. People buy the soundtrack, watch this love story fine, but this film is not for me.

After all the hype surrounding this movie, I expected better. Gaga can't act her way out of a paper bag and Cooper copying Sam Elliott's voice was just too much to bear. Don't waste your money on this one! The Barbara Streisand version from 1976 is still the best one out there.
