The only "A Star is Born" movie I saw was the 1976 one with Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson, and I loved it. The way Barbra sang the song "Evergreen" in it and her performance at the end of the movie was exceptional. I didn't see the first movie with Judy Garland, so I don't know of the similarities between those two movies. I don't know how similar the new one with Lady Gaga will be, either, but I want to see it. I think it'll be a huge success because Lady Gaga is so unique and has this unbelievable power that just blows me away. I really admire and respect Lady Gaga, so I hope this movie will be everything she's wanting it to be..

ill always love this movie. i was a teenager probably 16 i think and my aunt said u want to watch a movie and afterwards u will understand wat being in love is all about. i have watched it every yr and im 42 now. i still laugh and cry everytime i watch. it will always be number 1 movie to me. I will always cherish this movie. Kris Kristopherson is the greatest..Hes been my fav actor since i first seen this movie..

Love The Twist from The Originals that it wasn't an actress it was about musicians the music was great the roller coaster ride with these two together and the love that you could feel and a desperation of him disappearing was so felt in this movie much better than the new version that just came out and was nominated for the Oscar didn't hold a candle to this one! and you can never take away what a great job was done with the 1954 version with Judy Garland and James Mason...
