It was very suspenseful right up until the end! I really appreciated the character development and humor. haha, it was very funny. I also loved the fact that it wasn't gory- it reminded me of an Alfred Hitchcock film. I would highly recommend this if you want a good scare without having bloody nightmares afterwards:)

Wow! A few unexpected surprises! If you like to ride rollercoasters then get on board, strap yourself in and click on this ditty. A thriller without all the language, sex, and violence! A film that actually teaches young people about choices and peer pressure, but still is entertaining. A must see for young people who love twists and turns and a lot of fun surprises. Very safe for kids 13 and up! Enjoy the ride!

Ok I know many of those who see this film will not even know who Afred Hitchcock is (unless they saw the movie about him last year), but like "Psycho", "The Birds", "Rear Window", etc. this film is filled with suspense without the stupid over-excesses like "Saw", "Chainsaw Massacre', etc. If you like to be scared but don't want to be (or don't want your date to be) grossed out, "Abandoned Mine" is good flick to watch.
