About this movie

A young reporter happens upon a series of gruesome murders tied to real estate mysteries, where entire rooms have been dismantled and pulled from their foundations. The fact that those rooms were the exact settings for heinous tragedies sets her and a hardboiled cop on a search for the unimaginable. The stakes go up when it suddenly becomes very personal in this stylized and increasingly horrifying modern-noir.

It could be really good - it just isn't that good. It was interesting as hell, but due to poor execution Darren Lynn Bousman's vision feels rushed and poorly produced. It's still worth a watch due to the intriguing premise and a somewhat interesting, yet mediocre, final act.

Great atmosphere. Detective novel/film noir/Twin Peaks/80s horror...but then the end is a complete mess. I really thought I could give the movie five stars, until literally the last five minutes of the film. What's left unexplained is inexcusable, not mysterious in a good way.

Very good story, wonderful idea for a movie but the movie was made poorly. It was creepy at some points which is good. Terrible ending which makes it unwatchable for me
