Action Point (prefered as "Action Pointless") feels more like you are watching a "people getting hurt, try not to laugh compilation" with a cinematic look, & a story (of which what the story looks like). The characters have very little heart and soul. But the characterization for all the characters is poorly constructed. The unlikable characters, & nonsensical story will make the critic/veiwer zone out. The story absolutely makes no sense at all. It's boring, it's brainless, it has no point & has no message. Adults cuss in front of children & children cuss too, it may be rated R, but these people need to control there language at the right place at the right time. Worst of all, The animals in this movie were treated poorly! A Croc was teased & kicked, people gave negative critisism towards animals, including misunderstood ones. the cast is unprofessional with animals. Here's a true fact: BEARS DON'T DRINK ALCOHOL! Bear cubs drink milk, full grown bears drink water. Last but not least: the film itself is not funny at all. The comedy in this film failed horrendously. Overall: a brainless, boring, provocative, unfunny, pointless piece of trash that's NOT recommended... at all costs.

You'd think taking 'Jackass' level stunts and adding a comedy-like storyline would make for a great time, but sadly this doesn't seem to work in 'Action Point'. Part of the charm of 'Jackass' is being let in on the what's about to happen; where most of the stunts in 'Action Point' happen suddenly and you're just watching Knoxville roll around in pain. Also, the underdog storyline takes itself way too seriously with it's message about being free to do stupid stuff that can (possibly) hurt you.

This could have been so much more, but Action Point is a very random film with unesscary humor that does not fit with the film and well the film just gets strange at times. The park setup based on the real one is well done for well a dangerous park but there is only few laughs in this and very little actual on point execution. I prefer you go watch Class Action Park on HBO Max, the best documentary of 2020 out of the 2 I have seen I think it might be just 2 so far.
