Based on Anna Todd's bestselling novel which became a publishing sensation on social storytelling platform Wattpad, After follows Tess (Josephine Langford), a dedicated student, dutiful daughter and loyal girlfriend to her high school sweetheart, as she enters her first semester in college. Armed with grand ambitions for her future, her guarded world opens up when she meets the dark and mysterious Hardin Scott (Hero Fiennes Tiffin), a magnetic, brooding rebel who makes her question all she thought she knew about herself and what she wants out of life.

it wasnt horrible, but it definitely could of been way better. I hate how it was rushed, and missed some vital points that were in the book. I know, movies are never like the books but this could have had a bit more of the book involved. I hope the others are better well written and filmed. also... a couple of the characters are not what I pictured, like Noah for instance. anywhom AMAZING BOOK and an good movie. hope for the best on the next if there is one.

I'm not gunna lie...the movie could have been better. The acting wasn't that great and it seemed like Tess and Harden's relationship started way too fast. I know not everything from the book can fit into the movie but it skipped over a lot of key events. the movie over all was a little bit boring during some parts.

So seeing this film with Selma Blair brought me back to Cruel Intentions. Nostalgia aside, the movie was a 7/10. There was some depth, the plot wasn't completely predictable and the main actors were believable. I'm not a critic but watch a lot of movies that cross all types of genres. Watch this film if you are a teen, love romance, believe people can change and like to see attractive actors or you just have time on your hands (riding on a plane or whatever).
