About this movie

One thousand years after cataclysmic events forced humanity's escape from Earth, Nova Prime has become mankind's new home. Legendary General Cypher Raige returns from an extended tour of duty to his estranged family, ready to be a father to his 13-year-old son, Kitai. When an asteroid storm damages Cypher and Kitai's craft, they crash-land on a now unfamiliar and dangerous Earth. As his father lies dying in the cockpit, Kitai must trek across the hostile terrain to recover their rescue beacon. His whole life, Kitai has wanted nothing more than to be a soldier like his father. Today, he gets his chance.

What a waste l, it's a trend for the Smith family to make films just to push there children's careers at the expense of us. Now we got a boy who can't act get a ego boost when his nothing with out mummy and daddy. I wish the Smith family would stop exploiting everything to push there agenda and own interest at the expense of creativity and anything else.

What else to say, simply terrible movie. Nice that he is proud of his son, shame his son can't act. So many cheesy themes, the one about fear is the best, fear gets you killed so let's take a dangerous animal on a spaceship, I'm not scared of it so it won't kill me, unfortunately can't say the same of everyone else on the ship who survive the crash, thanks Commander Moron.

A little more raw emotion plz Jaden. Most of the movie was well acted but a few scenes just didn't grip me like they should have. I know he can act. I think the director should have call cut, and then had Jaden do a few retakes. Not a bad movie, just no worthy of 5/5.
