After a horrific car accident, Anna (Christina Ricci of BLACKSNAKE MOAN) wakes up to find the local funeral director Eliot Deacon (Liam Neeson of TAKEN) preparing her body for her funeral. Confused, terrified, and feeling still very much alive, Anna doesn’t believe she’s dead, despite the funeral director's reassurances that she is merely in transition to the afterlife. Eliot convinces her he has the ability to communicate with the dead and is the only one who can help her. Trapped inside the funeral home, with nobody to turn to except Eliot, Anna is forced to face her deepest fears and accept her own death. But Anna's grief-stricken boyfriend Paul (Justin Long of DRAG ME TO HELL) still can't shake the nagging suspicion that Eliot isn't what he appears to be. As the funeral nears, Paul gets closer to unlocking the disturbing truth, but it could be too late: Anna may have already begun to cross over to the other side.

I had watched this movie when it came out on HBO when I was 14, I loved the movie because it gave me a different view on what happens when we die. It filled me with a respect for life as well as death. Movie wise it was suspenseful at some parts, but I really couldn't call this a horror movie though I did feel dread during some parts of the movie. What could of been better was the ending and a better explanation of some parts in the movie would of made this movie the best I've ever seen,

This movie is very cool! If you are into this sort of thing. I would recommend it to anyone that enjoys sorta scary but fun movies. I'm fond of all three actors so that helps too. I think everyone would be unsettled by the thought of being buried alive. Very creepy! I'm not sure about the ending though I won't say what it is. I wish it had ended differently. Other than that I would watch it again! Have fun!

not so much a horror as much as its a series of creepiness... the kind of feeling you get when your inside a nightmare and can't move or run...left me feeling a chill up my spine.
