About this movie

After Porn Ends, is a documentary that not only examines the lives and careers of some of the biggest names in the history of the adult entertainment industry; but what happens to them after they leave the business and try and live the "normal" lives that millions of other Americans enjoy. They hailed from the rural South, steel towns, and the San Fernando Valley. As teenagers, and young adults, none of them thought that porn was in their future. They were artists, baseball players, child prodigies, and even Ivy Leaguers. Now, after their lives in porn; they're TV stars, bounty hunters, writers, and social activists. What happened in between? And now that they've moved on, can they really live a normal life after porn?

I'm 46 yrs old so I'm old enough to remember watching almost everyone in this documtary. People should stop being hypocrites. Its good to see these people are living a normal life as best they can.

at life after the camera's stop rolling. Amazed at how frank and refreshingly normal some of the women are...this is what it is, and it isn't anything else. It was interesting to see that not every person associated with the porn industry is damaged by it. I am not a porn fan-never was. I was sure this would be a teary, tragic tale of many ruined lives. Of course some people, mostly women, had regrets and shame over their participation in the industry. But I do believe those persons came to the industry with low self esteem and lots of baggage to begin with. It is not something I would have done, and yet having watched this film, I have a different take on the women who would, who have. I found this film mesmerizing, and an authentic capture of the voices of those who played on the front lines of the adult industry.

Some graphic scenes, but a solid expose' on what happens to porn stars....and most of it isn't pretty. Anyone who says they don't get this movie doesn't have a pulse. Rent it.
