Teave selle filmi kohta

Roman's (Arnold Schwarzenegger) life is changed forever the day he loses his wife and daughter in a plane crash. The same is true for the air traffic controller (Scoot McNairy) who inadvertently caused the accident; devastated, he moves away from his own family and assumes a new identity. Both men attempt to move on from the tragedy -- but Roman soon finds that he cannot live with his new reality, and without confronting the man responsible.

Arnold Schwartzenegger plays a good grieving family member. Unlike "Collateral Damage" he takes it to another level. Stewing and grieving at the same time; keeping in mind all his options; living life "lying" to the world around him only to get what he wants in the end. The last part where the son confronts his father's murderer seemed a little inauthentic; the setup at the wife and daughter's grave; the walk to the bridge pathway; the short dialogue and where the movie ends. Could that last part have been left out? Maybe. I'm reminded of how Denzel Washington's movie "Flight" ended with him beginning his prison sentence. Maybe it should have ended as he was listening to his cellmate reading a passage.

Scummy system blames the air traffic controller, similar setup to that of the movie Sully. Film definitely touched a nerved as the practice of grinding folks down to turd and throwing them off the bus when they break is common practice.

I feel like if this movie had the Coen's brothers in the credits, and absolutely nothing else was changed, this movie would be receiving praise from everyone. I very much felt for the people in this film. Like Fargo and No County For Old Men, everyone should watch this movie at least once.
