A historical drama set in Roman Egypt, concerning a slave who turns to the rising tide of Christianity in the hopes of pursuing freedom while also falling in love with his master, the famous female philosophy professor and atheist Hypatia of Alexandria.

Calificaciones y opiniones

Great! This film really moved me. The saddest part is that this is loosely based on historical fact. The destruction of the Library of Alexandria was an incalculable loss for us all (although it happened before Hypatia was born). The political manoeuvring and power hungry thuggery of the religions involved was as despicable then as it is now.
