See the original animated movie, the movie just isn't as colorful and vibrant as the cartoon. I agree with others who say that the extra storyline is nice but if left out would not be missed. The actors in this are just okay but just don't compare with the legends of the first movie (Robin Williams, Gilbert Gotfried, etc). If you own the animated movie just dust off the DVD and watch that instead. It is so easy to forget what a masterpiece the original was in comparison to this movie.

So far I enjoyed this one the most out of the Disney remakes. The parts that didn't attempt to imitate the original where fun and cool, but once the movie tried to be "Animated" it started to get cringey. It felt like the director was confused on how to make a animated movie into a live action one and for good reason, it's a good question.

Attempted to watch but couldn't get though 5 minutes, was to clingy hearing the opening song and the environment of it all was all wrong and weird to watch. when all I wanna do is watch the original. Very sad because will Smith is a good actor and "rapper" but cant sing rap yes but sing he can't. They just cant leave classic Disney movies alone. It's like when they make a great movie then purposely change the characters or the story to make a sequel and doesn't do as good..hm wonder why.
