I had wanted to see this movie since I had finished reading the series. Now that I finally have I wish I could get my money back. This movie was terrible literally the best part was Alex in the junk yard. Everything else was terrible. If you had stayed more with the book you could have done sooo much better and pocibly even made movies for the other books in the series but now that's never gonna happen because this movie was terrible.

This movie was a whole lot like the book but it had some missing scenes. This is not a young James Bond movie or whatever it is actually really good. They definitely brought the movie to life. It would have a little bit better if they didn't cut some scenes that were in the book out of the movie but what book based movie is perfect? I think that it is funny that Alex Rider is played by a boy whose first name is Alex (He would not have to worry about trying to remember another name).

Had to dock a star just because it was almost nothing like the book. Should probably dock two for that reason but I'm feeling generous. The movie itself was well made and a great movie. If they would have spent more money making and followed more closely to the book line it could have been a top top seller. Just needed more detail and more action to it. Needed more time spent showing the special forces camp and needed to follow the book on finding out who his uncle truly was. Overall good movie.
