Alice (Mia Wasikowska) has spent the past few years following in her father's footsteps and sailing the high seas. Upon her return to London, she comes across a magical looking glass and returns to the fantastical realm of Underland and her friends. There she discovers that the Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp) has lost his Muchness, so the White Queen (Anne Hathaway) sends her on a quest to borrow the Chronosphere, a metallic globe inside the chamber of the Grand Clock that powers all time. Returning to the past, she embarks on a perilous race to save the Hatter before time runs out.

The movie seemed to have so much potential but after the first half hour or so it was obvious that Alice through the looking glass was mad simply to capitalise on the fame of the first movie. The story line was lacking, it's progression was choppy and the only thing going for this movie was the special effects. Maybe spend more money on a good director and less on special effects. After this I will not see another Alice movie produced by this company.

These movies remind us that even a great actor has his/her limits. Johnny Depp is playing a cross between his role as Willy Wonka, Jack Sparrow, and Edward Scissor Hands. It is so hard to watch him try to be the Mad Hatter, it takes any good left in this movie, and throws it all out the window.

I Prefer the first One The plot was just all over the place in this moive, I just couldn't keep up. The trailer look promising but a good trailer can not save the moive. I knew Alice (Mia Wasikowska) was going to were that dress the whole moive but it got too irritating. And what on Earth did the mad hatter parents thing come from? If you ask me, it was an excuse to save the mad hatter from broken heart. But I did enjoy some sense those
