Alice (Mia Wasikowska) has spent the past few years following in her father's footsteps and sailing the high seas. Upon her return to London, she comes across a magical looking glass and returns to the fantastical realm of Underland and her friends. There she discovers that the Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp) has lost his Muchness, so the White Queen (Anne Hathaway) sends her on a quest to borrow the Chronosphere, a metallic globe inside the chamber of the Grand Clock that powers all time. Returning to the past, she embarks on a perilous race to save the Hatter before time runs out.

Disney's Alice through the looking glass yet another fantastic great family Disney film i should have watched it much sooner than i did still better late than to never have watched it at all i think it's possibly better than the first Johnny Depp Alice in Wonderland Disney mixed animation and live action movie.

this came in a run of movies from director TIM BURTON and DISNEY STUDIO's loaded with stunning visuals and so supremely acted by a list of cast actors with the kind o pedigree you know only Tim burton and Disney could ensemble we have the glorious ALICE THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS awards on every level these people are going to have to buy more shelving to store them on.

For starters not the next book, the makeup was much more cheaply done in this one like they were trying to ring as much money out of the first. (which I loved). We don't need to know the origins of every character! and when did Alice turn into a sea captain?!.....Take this film as a stand alone fantasy done by someone who has watched the first and thought they would make a weak attempt at a Part 2.
