About this movie

Lt. Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) is the lone survivor when her crippled spaceship crash lands on Fiorina 161, a bleak wasteland inhabited by former inmates of the planet's maximum security prison. Ripley's fears that an Alien was aboard her craft are confirmed when the mutilated bodies of ex-cons begin to mount. Without weapons or modern technology of any kind, Ripley must lead the men into battle against the terrifying creature. And soon she discovers a horrifying fact about her link with the Alien, a realization that may compel Ripley to try destroying not only the horrific creature but herself as well.

The first half of the film was pretty good. However, the plot really goes off towards the end. I didn't like how they made the Alien CGI. It's also know where knew as thrilling or horryifying as the first 2.It hasn't aged well at all. Sigourney Weaver is once gai fantastix as Ellen Ripley abd I do like most of the supporting characters. I just felt that the plot felt really jumbled up towards the end.

Suffers from being a follow up to 2 very superior films. Killing off fan favourites from Aliens in the title sequence was a very poor choice. Some great acting in the movie - pity the franchise nose dived completely after this one.

An ok entry to the franchise...the acting is abit wooden in places and special effects are not bad the idea of a dog alien (theatrical cut) is interesting (assembly cut version was a cow or close to one was stupid...the alien would be slow and starey as a real cow would be like, at least it could moooo-ve) 😕😕😕
