Alien Arrival tells the story of KYE CORTLAND (Dan Mor), a prisoner of war recruited by the notorious GENERAL HATCH (Mark Redpath) into one last heist mission. With the impending public execution of Kye’s father - and Hatch’s promise to help Kye prevent it after the mission is over - Kye is smuggled aboard a science vessel, the Arrowhead. But when the ship goes haywire, Kye finds himself stranded on a wild and desolate desert moon. Unable to contact Hatch, Kye looks for survivors who might be able to get the emergency shuttle started. He comes across a beautiful young biologist TARREN HOLLIS (Aleisha Rose), who remembers Kye from her past. Putting aside their political differences, they form a bond and work together to find a way off the moon before Kye’s father is executed. For the next three years, Kye’s only company is the Arrowhead shuttle’s artificially intelligent computer, REEF (voiced by Shaun Micallef). Together, Kye and Reef try to unravel the mystery of Kye’s transformations. After a trek across the dangerous desert terrain, they discover the truth about the strange uncharted moon, Hatch’s sinister intentions, and the realisation that they may be able to save Tarren, and Kye’s father, who are both long believed to be dead. Alien Arrival is a fantastical science fiction adventure about second chances, extraordinary powers and what it means to be a protector.

If you only had 100$ to make a sci-fi movie, this is what it would look like. It's kinda funny from that perspective.
