In Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem, the iconic creatures from two of the scariest film franchises in movie history wage their most brutal battle ever - in our own backyard. The small town of Gunnison, Colorado becomes a war zone between two of the deadliest extra-terrestrial life forms - the Alien and the Predator. When a Predator scout ship crash-lands in the hills outside the town, Alien Facehuggers and a hybrid Alien/Predator are released and begin to terrorize the town.

Starts off like gangbusters and is a true Predator movie because it has undiluted, gory content, compared to the bloodless AVP (2004). Some very dark and darkly lit scenes really push the boundaries on acceptable horror film imagery that not even Brian Yuzna would consider filming. A dumb but entertaining thrill ride.

This isn't an awful film. The story is though, but let's face it - you're not here for the story. The fight scenes are decently done, shame its a bit on the dark side. I do rate the Unrated DVD/Blu-ray version more as it seems to make a lot more sense so it's probably better to seek those out.

Watch this film if u have seen the first avp if not try to watch all the alien films and then the preditor ones first they are better than avp and avp 2 anyway. U don't need to watch the first avp anyway because there is no big story to them anyway and the movies are not connected very much but are connected in little way. A bit anoying how there is a preditor mixed with an alien and some kid pick up some predator gun and starts blowing holes in aliens i mean wtf😬.If u like non stop gory action this is ur cup of tea if not don't bother watching😉
