I have been waiting to watch this movie for so long seems like an internity watched it last night and what a show i don't think i moved the whole time it was playing i thought the CGI was very well done and executed i found myself lost in the realism of the story line i do hope that there is a second film coming as i want to see her get revenge for her boy friend and that was hard to watch the way he dies i hope that he comes back some how in the second movie i really love the pace and sentiment of the show will be watching it again soon.....

I am but a lowly viewer who enjoyed watching this movie in its entirety with his/her/it’s and what’s family. Please disregard this comment if you are a movie critic of any kind or a movie critic wannabe. If you enjoy Sci-fi and or fantasy audio visual stimulation please watch, view or assimilate this movie so “they” make the sequels!

To sum it up: this re-make could have gone down two paths: true to Manga or Disney. Sadly it tried to straddle both and in doing so it ultimately lost its soul. A solid chewing-gum flick for a hangover day but expect the brilliance of the original anime.
