Good CGI/effects and a reasonable story. The mystique behind the protagonist's backstory piqued my interest and I was hoping for a complete story; however, the ending was strange, sudden, unexpected, confusing and disappointing. Because of the ending, I am unlikely to ever watch this film again because it felt like they had run out of money and had to stop filming. If you want an entertaining film with impressive graphics then watch this film. If you want a complete story then look elsewhere.

Haven't got to see the movie yet as downloading from G Play I thought you can download to the hard drive to play on the TV but no I have to set up G Play on the TV to watch and guess what it wont work. Shame on you G Play. I want my money refunded.

To sum it up: this re-make could have gone down two paths: true to Manga or Disney. Sadly it tried to straddle both and in doing so it ultimately lost its soul. A solid chewing-gum flick for a hangover day but expect the brilliance of the original anime.
