An epic adventure set in the last Ice Age. Europe, 20,000 years ago. While on his first hunt with his tribe's most elite group, a young man is injured and left for dead. Awakening to find himself broken and alone -- he must learn to survive and navigate the harsh and unforgiving wilderness. Reluctantly taming a lone wolf abandoned by its pack, the pair learn to rely on each other and become unlikely allies, enduring countless dangers and overwhelming odds in order to find their way home before the deadly winter arrives.

It was a movie. Certainly not a gripping tale of adventure and survival. In a nutshell, it’s a beautifully filmed landscape devoid from everything else. SPOILER The wolf doesn’t do anything. You would expect that there would be a lot of threats and challenges along their trek toward survival. However they walk home, they get home, and the movie ends. Honestly, save your time.

The reviews we read of this movie suggested it should have subtitles as the characters talk in an unknown language. However there does not appear to be a subtitle track, we attempted getting it to work from 3 different devices but to no avail. Very disappointing

The trailer is misleading. Unnecessary violence and no English (only subtitles, the spoken language is supposed to be a prehistoric one which obviously cannot be understood) make it a no kids movie.
